Royal British Columbia Museum, Victoria, B.C.

This is known as second only to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. as a museum of natural and national history.  Naturally, my interest was primarily in the First Peoples (Native American) aspect of the museum.

These first two photos were taken at Thunderbird Park, where there is a collection of authentic totem poles…

These totems were displayed inside the museum proper…

There is also an amazing collection of masks…

That’s all for Victoria, B.C.
